South Sudan Urban Water Corporation (SSUWC) is a public utility owned by the government of the Republic of South Sudan mandated by the President through South Sudan Act 2011 to provide safe and clean drinking water to the citizens of the country in the Urban Areas.The Corporation is governed in a formally set up structure with the Board of Directors supervising the Corporation’s top management in its regular meeting. The Corporation’s head is the Managing Director followed by the Deputy Managing then the Director Generals etcetera.The Corporation has the Head Quarters located behind Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Immigration – Juba town. Under the HQs are the Stations in different respective areas (towns) namely; Juba Station, Malakal Station, Renk Station, Bor Station, Wau Station and Maridi Station.Their VisionTo be the leading and most vibrant service provider in South SudanTheir MissionTo develop and provide safe, adequate, affordable water supply services in an efficient, sustainable, customer-oriented and environmentally friendly manner.
